Come Together 08.04.2011

Title clearly inspired by the Beatles's song of the same name; content is not. This painstaking work is 11 x 14" black mattboard, drawn with graphite, cut and peeled an X-acto knife, and then colored with fine-point rainbow Sharpies. There is a slightly fuzzy texture to the colored areas because of the paper fibers, and it is also slightly recessed from the black layer, which has the board's surface texture.
