Glam Rock Costume #1

Starting in May 2009, I made an album's worth of fashion designs as a response to the excitement of Adam Lambert on American Idol. I compiled them into a foamboard folio, and made a portrait cover image. This is the best image I was able to capture of this before I gave it away.

I had remembered that when Freddie Mercury and Montserrat collaborated for Barcelona, there was a decision to take their experience and turn it into an album's worth of material. How prophetic! 

The design concept for this was white and Horus. I used a reference for the face. The rest of it i made up.  This was done in graphite and watercolor on generic drawing paper. The drawing was around 9 x 14".
