9.375 x 14.25." This was made on a recycled piece of paper, and had a portion of a c.October 2004 graphite & watercolor work that was a poster-sized copy I made of my (unfinished) Countries (Flag) series #37 USA fashion design. This scan has been edited to try to simulate the way the sharpie appears in real life.

I made this for 's challenge celebrity red carpet. I picked Helena Bonham Carter, because I had wanted to design something for her after I got all excited over her golden globe outfit that I loved so much. I put it on my back burner, but this challenge was a perfect opportunity. Because I drew this with Sharpies, in reality, the dress would be a darker green. I used this image as a reference for her face, the rest of it I made up.

She has a bodice with a side-laced detail, a fan as a headpiece, and a pleated side train attached to a slim skirt. She has darker green lace accents on her outfit, and matching jewel detail. She has chandelier earrings, shoes that are copper colored with matching green strips on them, and she carries purple sunglasses.
