[link] I'm often struck by individuals who look completely feminine, while having a layer of masculinity to them, or conversely by people who look completely masculine, while having some feminine softness clinging to them.
This is often called androgyny, and people consider it perhaps less. Not all the way male, or not all the way female. Some halfling, some weirdo, people that get called a lesbian or a fag. (i hesite to use the last word, but i only do it here to emphasize the name calling as wrong.)
Some people i see as androgynous, as male and female at the same time, not as a halfway point, or an unsure ground, but as a duality. They aren't neither, they are both at once. Can a woman be masculine dressed like a 50s pinup? You bet your sweet ass she can. Can a man? Bitch, you know it. A man can wear femininity dressed like a lumberjack. It just is. It's a confidence, that can be read on their faces. They know who they are. I dig that. I want to be like that.
